Governance

A Board of Directors, consisting of the presidents of each member college, heads the WISPALS Library Consortium. It is advised by an Executive Committee, consisting of the library directors from each member college.

WiLS serves as WISPALS’ consortium manager and fiscal agent.

WISPALS Executive Committee

The Executive Committee oversees the ongoing operations of the Consortium and its services, prepares the budget, creates and reviews the strategic initiatives, provides direction to and acts on recommendations of Consortium contractors, evaluates performance provided by contractors, and makes recommendations to the Consortium Board of Directors.

WISPALS Performance Evaluation Committee

The Performance Evaluation Committee solicits feedback from member libraries regarding the services provided by Consortium contractors, measures the performance of the Consortium as a whole, and plans activities and strategies to improve the Consortium. The Committee shares this information with the contractors and creates performance improvement plans as needed. The Committee is comprised of the Chair, past Chair, and three upcoming Chairs.
